As many of you know, Dr. Kathy McNamara held her last ethics presentation for OSPA at the Spring 2019 Conference. Filling her shoes has been no easy task. As a result we were unable to find a replacement in time for the Fall 2019 Conference. We will therefore NOT offer an ethics session at this conference.
We do intend to have an ethics session at the Spring 2020 Conference, which will be held April 22-24 in Columbus, and have already lined up a presenter for Fall 2020 and beyond.
We understand many of you will be looking to fulfill the ethics requirement for your license renewal and would remind you that OSPA offers three webinars, all of which provide content that qualifies for the State Board of Psychology's ethics/multicultural competency requirement. The courses are available through our website HERE. They include:
- Three hours in ethics from Dr. Kathy McNamara
- One hour on LGBTQ-2S issues from Dr. Erich Merkle
- One hour in multicultural competency from Dr. Antoinette Miranda
We appreciate your understanding and look forward to seeing you at the full days of the 2019 Fall Conference.
