In Memoriam: Audrey Bashian

Audrey Bashian, age 92, passed away peacefully Oct. 28, 2024. For 44 years, she enjoyed a deeply meaningful marriage to Charles Bashian (d June 10, 2002). Audrey was the daughter of Hermine and Otto Schwarzmann (d) and sister of Roger (d). She is survived by her daughter Alison, and son Jack (Veronica) and grandchildren Gordon, Nicholas, Claudia (Samuel), Elizabeth, Eleanor, and Samuel. Audrey considered majoring in ballet, but her practical side prevailed. She graduated Northwestern University, majoring in Psychology. Audrey later earned her master’s degree from Cleveland State University. She completed her year of school psychology internship in the East Cleveland Schools in 72-73, and worked there until 1979. She then worked in a number of private schools.
