Ohio has served as a pioneer state in the field of school psychology for well over a century. As we move from decade to decade, it is essential to periodically re-evaluate our roles and responsibilities and consider how these have evolved over the past century. Furthermore, NASP is expected to revise the NASP 2010 standards which are designed to guide comprehensive training and practice in the field of school psychology. As standards and special education mandates change, it is necessary to take time to reflect, evaluate where we are heading, and adjust our services accordingly.
